Monaliza Bazaar
A real bazaar, now online.
Monaliza started as a bazaar you could walk through — tables, makers, and things made by hand in Egypt. The marketplace is the same bazaar, open all year.
How it started
Mona ran the bazaar the way a bazaar should be run: she knew the makers, she saw the work before it went on a table, and she put her name next to it. Nothing was listed that she had not seen.
The bazaar kept selling out its tables and kept turning makers away — not for lack of interest, but for lack of days in the year. An edition lasts a weekend. The work lasts longer than that.
So the bazaar moved online without changing what it is. Same makers, same standard, same person deciding what belongs here — open all year instead of one weekend at a time.
